Reckless Echo

Reckless Echo is a four-piece band from Rockcastle County, Kentucky, blending vocals, driving guitars, and a tight rhythm section into a sound that’s raw, emotional, and unapologetically loud. Fronted by lead vocalist Skylar Miller, with James Miller on lead guitar, Zachary Miller on bass, and Drew Moore on drums, Reckless Echo delivers music rooted in connection, chemistry, and lived experiences. Officially formed in December of 2024, the band is actively writing, rehearsing, and preparing to bring their sound to venues across Kentucky.

At the heart of Reckless Echo is a musical bond that has been years in the making. James and Drew, best friends for over 15 years, have played together in multiple bands, such as Wanted and Red Hot based out of Garrard County. During that time they developed a rhythm that feels instinctive rather than rehearsed. James and Zachary, brothers who have been making music together for over 17 years, bring a shared musical language that only family can create. Over the years, Zach also played alongside James and Drew in various projects, forming a core trio whose chemistry proved impossible to break. Even as bands came and went, these three kept playing, jamming in bedrooms, garages, and family homes, always chasing the sound that felt right.

Skylar had been part of that journey from the sidelines for years, encouraging the music to grow beyond the walls it was created in. In December of 2024, Skylar stepped up to the mic, completing the missing piece. With Skylar’s vocals and presence, Reckless Echo finally became what it was always meant to be a band driven not just by talent, but by trust, history, and genuine connection, and love. That foundation sets Reckless Echo apart, this isn’t a project thrown together, it’s the result of years of shared music, shared life, and a sound forged naturally over time.

Now, Reckless Echo is focused on building momentum, while covering songs from Metallica to In This Moment, the focus is on writing original music, preparing for live performances, and carving out their place in the local and regional music scene.
